On Monday morning, Kellyanne Conway, White House advisor, whined and complained that the Emmys were “against Trump”. In an interview with Fox & Friends, Conways flipped out about what celebrities had to say about the president and accused the Emmys of being politically slanted against him.
She told Fox & Friends, “They got plucked and polished and waxed and some of them didn’t eat for two months and all for what? To sound the same? And they have a right to speak.”
Conway was referring to the celebrities dieting and dressing up for one of the hottest events of the year.
Her indignant rant didn’t just apply to the Emmys. She later added, “Between the Emmys, the Miss America pageant was very politicized, our sports are very politicized and it looks like the ratings are suffering. It looks like America is responding by tuning out because they want you to stick to your knitting.”
Conway was fuming with rage because the Emmys was littered with political references aimed to poke fun and criticize Trump and Conway, being the most devoted sheep of all conservatives, wouldn’t stand for it. She accused Hollywood of lacking “introspection and humor”, two qualities she admired in the Trump administration and Sean Spicer.
Clearly, she’s never heard of Satire.
