Trump’s unprecedented war on the war media just took a turn for the worse; reporter Dan Heyman was arrested for simply asking Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price a question about Trumpcare.
Heyman wanted to know if the bill includes ‘domestic violence’ in its long list of pre-existing conditions. Instead of answering Heyman’s question, Price had the man arrested for doing his job.
Police apprehended Heyman, despite him telling them he was a member of the press who was given clearance to ask questions.
via The Hill:
“First time I’ve ever been arrested for asking a question. First time I’ve ever heard of someone getting arrested for asking a question,” he said.
“It’s dreadful. This is my job, this is what I’m supposed to do. I’m supposed to find out if someone is going to be affected by this healthcare law…I think it is a question that deserves to be answered,” he added.
