Reporter Breaks White House Rules By Streaming Audio Of Off-Camera Briefing LIVE, White House NOT HAPPY!

In his war on the media, Trump decided to ban recordings at the press briefings—but some reporters are resisting.

Ksenija Pavlovic of The Pavolovic Today broadcast the audio from Wednesday’s briefing with Sarah Huckabee Sanders in two segments using Periscope. Together, there were 48 minutes of the briefing.

Colleagues in the journalistic community are calling Pavlovic a hero, but at the same time, are worried about the significance of the act. “Yet her act of rebellion marks a significant development in White House-media relations. Reporters have chafed at recent restrictions on coverage of news briefings, urging the president’s communications team to allow live broadcasts,” The Washington Post explained. “Nevertheless, they have complied with the White House’s rules, despite carrying devices that can stream video or audio with a few taps of the thumb.”

The press having to sneak information to the people? George Orwell is saying “I told you so” somewhere.

Here are the posts from the recording-banned briefing.
