Morning Joe co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski continued their near-daily mockery of the Trump administration, according to The Hill.
After the announcement that special counsel Robert Mueller has impaneled a grand jury in his investigation of the Trump campaign’s collusion with Russia, Brzezinski said, “Ooh, what is Saturday going to bring? That’s what I want to know because this has been one hell of a week.”
“Do you know what you called last Friday?” Scarborough asked.
“Failure Friday,” she replied. “So what do we call this one? Grand Jury Friday?”
“I think, actually—write it down, children—#FelonyFriday,” Scarborough responded. “We have a winner at 6:02. Thank you so much. Have a great weekend.”
Scarborough and Brzezinski have continually called Trump a “fake president,” starting just days after his inauguration. In May, Scarborough implied that Trump has dementia:
My mother had dementia for ten years. That sounds like the sort of thing my mother would say today….It’s beyond the realm.
Scarborough called Trump a “bumbling, bumbling dope” in May, and said the president looked like “a kid who pooped in his pants” in June.
For his part, Trump regularly calls Scarborough “Psycho Joe” and Brzezinski “Low IQ Mika,” and in June taunted Brzenski in a series of Twitter posts that she had been “bleeding badly from a face-lift” during a social gathering at Trump’s resort in Florida around New Year’s Eve—a claim that was proved to be yet another lie from the president.
Happy #FelonyFriday, Mr. President! Enjoy your vacation!
